81% of VC firms don’t have a single black investor — BLCK VC plans on changing that

Venture capital has a diversity problem . BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. Their mission: Turn 200 black investors into 400 black investors by 2024. “We think of ourselves as an organization formed by black VCs for blacks VCs to increase the representation of black investors,” Sykes told TechCrunch. “You can look around and say well ‘I know five black VCs,’ but you can also say this firm does not have a single black VC, they may not even have a single underrepresented minority … We want to make firms reckon with the fact that there is a racial diversity problem; there is a lack of black VCs and every firm should really care about it.” BLCK VC has been at work since the beginning of 2018, building and expanding a network of black investors in the San Francisco area, Los Angeles and New York. Kiss Daniel: Biography, Net worth, Endorsement (Find out more about the talented Nigerian Musician)

Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel popularly known as (Kiss Daniel) is a Nigeria afro-beat singer, songwriter; performer and entertainer, born on 1st of May 1990. He hails from popular Yoruba town Abeokuta in Ogun state western Nigeria. He received his elementary and secondary education at Ogun state. He then studied water resources management  at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, where he earn for himself a Bachelor Degree in Water resources Engineering.

His childhood ambition was to become a professional musician, He decided to pursue music as a career alongside his studies, and the superstar showed an interest in music from an early age and was encouraged by his father. He started his music career professionally in 2013 after his tertiary education, when he came across G- worldwide Entertainment CEO, Emperor Geezy, who liked his style of music which later ended up in singing the superstar.

Kiss Daniel released his first single "Shoye" which was produced by beatburx on May 1st 2014, along with a music video was directed by Mex. On the 1st of September 2014 the superstar released his second single titled "woju" produced by Dj Coublon, the single gain massive airplay. The video of Woju was directed by Adasa Cookey,shot in Lagos, Nigeria. The song spent eleven weeks on the MTV base official Naija top ten, including Six weeks at the number one spot.

Daniel then recorded and released a remix of "woju" featuring Tiwa savage and Davido. The single Woju and its remix peaked at number 1 and number 2 on the MTV Base official naija top 10, the first time that an original song and its remix would peak at the first and second position on the chart.
