Venture capital has a diversity problem . BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye popularly known as (Simi) is a Nigerian afro pop singer and song writer Born on 19 April 1988 at Ojuelegba, surulere. She received his elementary and secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria, and then went ahead to earn for herself a bachelor Degree in mass Communication at Covenant University. The superstar was the last child in the family of four siblings, Simi grew up dancing and singing as a member of her local church choir until she wrote her first song at the age of ten. She started her professional music career in 2008 with her debut album titled "Ogaju" with Hit tracks like "Ara Ile" and "Iya Temi" produced by Samklef.

Simi musical career came to limelight when she released the Hit titled "Tiff" in 2014, the song saw nominated in two categories at the Headies 2015 and further brought her to mainstream recognition. She released her EP album titled Restless in January 2014 which gave her more recognition and earned her a record deal with X3M Music.
