81% of VC firms don’t have a single black investor — BLCK VC plans on changing that

Venture capital has a diversity problem . BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. Their mission: Turn 200 black investors into 400 black investors by 2024. “We think of ourselves as an organization formed by black VCs for blacks VCs to increase the representation of black investors,” Sykes told TechCrunch. “You can look around and say well ‘I know five black VCs,’ but you can also say this firm does not have a single black VC, they may not even have a single underrepresented minority … We want to make firms reckon with the fact that there is a racial diversity problem; there is a lack of black VCs and every firm should really care about it.” BLCK VC has been at work since the beginning of 2018, building and expanding a network of black investors in the San Francisco area, Los Angeles and New York. We have gathered the information you needed on the Full accredited Courses in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, by National University Commission.

 

 



MOUAU Admission Requirement


Candidate seeking for admission into 100 level of any degree course in MOUAU must be qualified for admission before the beginning of the academic session.

Candidate must meet the Following:

  1. The general entrance requirement, and

  2. Additional Faculties or Departmental Courses requirements


 

MOUAU Entry Requirement


MOUAU admit Minimum age of 16 years into the University degree programmes

100 level through UTME

  • Candidate must have an acceptable score in the UTME

  • Candidate must obtain Five (5) Credit passes at SSCE or its equivalent at not more than 2 sittings in relevant subject including English and Mathematics.


For Direct Entry Student


Before you can be admitted into the Direct Entry at MOUAU Candidate must possess the Following requirements

  1. Minimum of Credit passes in Five(5) subject including English and Mathematics at SSCE, GCE ‘O’level or equivalent Qualification at not more than two sittings

  2. Most possess an HND, OND, or NCE in relevant Programme of Study.

  3. An acceptable Score prescribed for admission at the Direct Entry Screening Exercise.


NOTE;

ND holders with Minimum of upper Credit passes in addition to ‘O’ level Credit passes will be admitted into 200 level of the programme, While HND Certificates may be admitted into the 300level Except for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Programme.

 

For B. Agriculture Programme



  • Candidate must obtain Five (5) Credit passes in SSCE/WAEC/GCE ‘O’ level which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Agricultural Science.


However, every Candidate must have attempted Physics and Mathematics at WAEC/SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level.
