BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. Emeka Offor Biography and Net Worth

Nigeria oil mogul and entrepreneur Sir Emeka Offor was born in Kafanchan situated in Kaduna state in 1957. He hails from Oraifite in Anambra state. He is the son of the late Bennett Offor. He attended Abbot Boys Secondary School and Merchant of Light School in Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State where he sat for the First School Leaving Certificate in 1977.

His journey to a successful business career started at an early age when he worked under his uncle who showed him the ropes on how to successfully run a business. After gathering enough experience from his uncle he moved on to establish his first business enterprise in the mid-90s called the Chrome Group. With steadfast doggedness, he was able to break into the Nigerian oil and gas sector. Chrome Group is an internationally recognized professional service provider for oil and gas firms within and outside Nigeria. With specialties in the maintenance of refineries, digital inspection and the construction of natural gas pipelines. The group also manages investment holdings in areas such as telecommunications, insurance, power, and logistics.

He has also assisted in the construction of community road in Ekwusigo Local Government Area. He has also assisted in the development of his hometown in Oraifite with the provision of a water project to serve the four regions which make up Oraifite.

He was recognized by the Rotary International with an International service award in 2015 for his contribution to the eradication of Polio in the World.
