81% of VC firms don’t have a single black investor — BLCK VC plans on changing that

Venture capital has a diversity problem . BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. FUNAAB Admission Requirements

Candidate seeking provisional admission into a Degree programme in FUNAAB must meet the following requirements

  1. The general entrance requirement, and

  2. Departmental Courses requirements


Admission into the programmes of the College can be through;

  • UME(University Matriculation Examination)

  • NABTEB

  • DE (Direct Entry)

  • Pre-Degree


 1.  UME



  • Basically to qualify for admission into the programme of the College, Candidate must obtain Five(5) credit passes including English , Mathematics and other Three relevant Subjects at the Senior Secondary School Certificates or its equivalent at not more than 2 sittings and an acceptable pass in the University Matriculation Examination(UME) are required.


 2.  Direct Entry


Candidates with the relevant passes at A level or its equivalent may be admitted to undertake the three year degree programme into 200 level , Candidates with pass at upper credit from recognized training institutions such as the polytechnic and monotechnics are also considered for admissions into 200 level.

3. Pre- Degree Programme


To qualify for placement into the degree programme, registered students of the University’s Pre-Degree Programme are expected to meet up with the following conditions.

  • Obtain an Average of 50% total Score for all examination,

  • Student are not expected to score less than 50% in more than two subject

  • Students should not Score less than 40% in any Subject. Students are expected to score Over 50% in subjects related to their intended degree programme Score.
