BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. The process of founding Covenant University (CU) started in October 1999, one month after the dedication of Faith Tabernacle in Ota, the largest church auditorium in the world. The university is a product of the Liberation Commission and was established by the World Mission Agency and the Living Faith Church Worldwide. Covenant University opened on 21 October 2002 in Canaanland, Ota, with a Pentecostal Christian mission ethos. It was founded by David Oyedepo, the presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, who is chancellor of the university.
Admission Requirement
Candidate seeking admission into a Degree programme in Covenant University must meet the following requirements
UME
- Minimum of Credit passes in Five subjects including English language at ,GCE O’level and any other equivalent examinations at not more than two sittings.
- UTME score of at least 200 in all programmes.
- Candidates must make Convenant as their first or second choice to qualify to write the Post UTME screening test.
- Final selection will be based on the candidate’s average scores from UTME and Post-UTME screening tests.
