Venture capital has a diversity problem . BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. Their mission: Turn 200 black investors into 400 black investors by 2024. “We think of ourselves as an organization formed by black VCs for blacks VCs to increase the representation of black investors,” Sykes told TechCrunch. “You can look around and say well ‘I know five black VCs,’ but you can also say this firm does not have a single black VC, they may not even have a single underrepresented minority … We want to make firms reckon with the fact that there is a racial diversity problem; there is a lack of black VCs and every firm should really care about it.” BLCK VC has been at work since the beginning of 2018, building and expanding a network of black investors in the San Francisco area, Los Angeles and New York. Candidate seeking admission into the University must meet the following requirements.

  • Must fulfill Faculty and Departmental Requirement

  • must meet the University Cut-off Point

100 level


To be offered admission into the University Candidate must have at least Five (5) Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at the SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent in order to qualify for admission into any of the Faculties. A Combination of Credit passes at ‘O’ level in Five Science subjects and at not more than two sittings is acceptable.

Direct Entry


Admission to 200 level by Direct Entry is based on the performance at the GCE. ‘A’ level Examination or its equivalent. Applicants with any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission, provided all the Five (5) subject at ‘O’level are Obtained at not more than two sittings; ND with upper credit,HND/NCE at credit level in relevant subjects may be considered for admission into the 200 level.

    Hello I am interested in asking you are very important question is you course Pure and applied Chemistry is that converted into master's degree if so with that degree can it be used in the United States meaning can the knowledge of that course enable that individual to sit a exam hear to convert that degree to American standard
