BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. Sarkodie, real names Michael Owusu Addo is a Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur who was born in Tema Ghana. He is the fourth child of his mothers five children and was raised by his mother; he attended Tema Methodist Senior high School and also has a degree in graphic design from IPMC. He started rapping at a tender age but his breakthrough into the music scene was when he started performing at rap battles before earning a music deal that saw the release of his debut album in 2009. The rapper is known to occasionally rap in his native language of Twi, and also in English and pidgin which makes him versatile and bankable.
