BLCK VC , a new organization founded by Storm Ventures associate Frederik Groce and NEA associate Sydney Sykes to connect, engage and advance black venture capitalists, is ready for a new era in the industry. American University of Nigeria (AUN) is a private university in northeastern Nigeria that offers American style higher education programs at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels. Founded in 2004.it is the only American style university in Sub-Saharan Africa. AUN is accredited by the Nigerian National Universities Commissions.

Founded in 2004 by Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria's former vice president, the American University of Nigeria opened its doors to its first students in 2005. The university is located in northeastern Nigeria in Yola, the state capital of Adamawa state.
The university was originally named the ABTI American University of Nigeria before becoming the American University of Nigeria.

Undergraduate Admission Requirements
- Students must possess a minimum Jamb score of 180 or JAMB's yearly official cut off scoreto be considered for admission at AUN.
- Also required for admissions consideration are five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, on no more than two SSCE sittings, or an equivalent from a country that requires other types of exit exams or standardized tests. Exceptions, if any, are made on a case-by-case basis.
- Candidates seeking admission into the Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honors) program must in addition possess a credit in Literature-in-English.
- Having the above scores and grades does not guarantee admission into the University. The above mentioned requirements only qualifies you for admission consideration and not necessarily acceptance. Students' applications are carefully scrutinized, and those accepted are the ones with the highest scores and qualifications in the applicant pool.
